Solitaire: Retro Edition
Classic Klondike Solitaire for iPhone, with Draw One, Draw Three and a Daily Deal.
How to play
- Build the four foundations at the top from Ace to King, one suit each, to win.
- In the seven columns, stack cards downward in alternating colors. Only a King can go in an empty column.
- Tap a card to send it to the best place, or drag it (with the cards on top of it) where you want it.
- Tap the deck to draw. When it runs out, tap the empty spot to turn the drawn cards over again.
- Undo takes back moves. New Game deals again in Draw One or Draw Three.
- Hint shows a useful move. If none is left, the game tells you.
- Stuck? The shuffle button cheats: it shuffles the deck and the face-down cards in the columns. A win after it still counts, but sets no best time.
- Your game is saved when you leave the app, so you can pick it up later.
Daily Deal
Tap Daily for today's deal: the same deal for everyone, always one that can be won, in Draw One. A new deal comes at midnight. Each day's deal can be won once; then the Daily button shows a check mark and your time.
- Win it on days in a row to build a streak (🔥). The streak is shown on the Daily button, on the win screen and in Statistics.
- Race for the fastest time on the daily Game Center leaderboard. Undo and Hint work in the daily deal; the shuffle button doesn't, so the leaderboard stays fair.
- My Game takes you back to your own game, and an unfinished daily deal waits for you until the end of the day.
- An optional daily reminder can tell you when a new deal is ready. It's off until you turn it on, and it skips days you've already won.
Settings and Game Center
The gear button opens Settings, where you can:
- switch sound effects and haptics on or off, and turn the daily reminder on or off and choose its time;
- see your statistics: wins, streaks and best times for each draw mode, and your daily streak;
- pick one of six card backs and one of five table colors;
- turn on the left-handed layout (deck on the right) or Winnable Deals Only (every new deal is one that can be won).
Sign in to Game Center to earn achievements, climb the best-time and daily leaderboards and challenge friends. Game Center is optional.
